Running, rushing, no pausing,
From pillar to post, a quest?

Mindless and thoughtless,
Pursuits meaningless.
Forgotten to pause, breathe,

Life sped with speed.
Little did we know, how we fare,
Shall we now listen, feel.

Why my heart beats, is not still?
Who and why?
What and how?

Stopping, nourishing our souls,
Let us make new beginnings,
In becoming conscious beings.
