Kindness

Bound to oneself, with many a shackles
Being tied back to our own little self, grapple

Innumerable chains, binding down, gripping
Kindness treasure will release us, go flying

A bird uncaged, eternally free to fly
Nothing holding it down, into boundless sky

Kindness at the heart’s throne, if foremost
Everything else left behind and will be roast

Freeing oneself from everything worldly
Binding with everything that’s otherworldly

A kind heart is a kind soul
The ultimate treasure, one can hold

  1. Excellently worded poem. Loved whole of it but freeing the bird within touched most.

“A bird uncaged, eternally free to fly
Nothing holding it down, into boundless sky”.

    Keep writing.
