ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಶಾಕ, ಪ್ರೇಮದ ಸೆರೆಗೆ,
ಸೋಮನ ಚೆಲುವು, ತಂಪಿನ ಬೆಸುಗೆ.
ತಾರೆಯ ಕಂಬಳಿ, ತವಕದ ಹೊದಿಗೆ,
ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಸೊಬಗು, ಒಲವಿನ ಅಪ್ಪುಗೆ.
ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧತೆಯು ನಿಸರ್ಗದ ಶೀಲ ಚಿನ್ನೆ,
ನಿರಂತರ ಮಿಡಿಯುವ ಅನಂತ ವೀಣೆ.
ಮನಕೆ ನಾಟಿತು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ನಾದ, ಕರುಣೆ,
ಶೃತಿಯ ಅರಿವು ನನ್ನ ಬಾಳಿನ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆ.
ಇದರ ವೈಶಿಷ್ಟ್ಯದ ಶುದ್ಧ ರಾಗದ ಸೆಳೆತ,
ಸಿಹಿ ಗಾನವು, ಒಳ ಅಡಗಿರುವ ಮಿಡಿತ
ನುಡಿಸಿ ಶೃತಿಯಲಿ ನಾ ಆದೆ ಮುಗ್ಧ, ಸತತ
ಸಿರಿ ಲಹರಿ, ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ, ಸುಗಮ ಅನವರತ.
