A tender heart when manifest to listen,
The act of listening, shall surely lessen,
Burdens people carry, heavy on soul,
Unburden load, hearing is our goal.
Simple enough, at first, lending an ear,
Not so fast to judge, to Only Hear.
Putting in their shoes, ourself, feeling,
Non-judgemental, empathy in being.
Does wonders in pain and in suffering,
Lightens one with cheer, forward-going.
Lonely not, to be valued , it’s connecting,
Hopes soar, every life’s worth cementing.
