Varying proportions, determines; leaning states,

IQ-Intelligent Quotient, logic, reasoning, brilliant,
EQ- Emotional quotient, feeling, connecting, excellent,

Metaphorizing these, pans of a weighing scale,
Should they balance, in our everyday sail.

The value each adds, to lives, just shimmering,
May we be granted, gifts to go towering.

Admit, have I, my most preferable quotient,
That makes me want, be more humanly potent,

Tipping the scale, for favoring higher EQ,
Making life meaningful, that is sure clue,

High IQ brilliance, shines, raw alright,
EQ is magnanimous, glorious ripe might.

Plenty IQ, feelings trifling, meaningless,
EQ lends meaning, gives life its fullness.
